“Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days." (Colossians 2:16)
Is this proof that Christians are no longer to observe God’s Festivals and Sabbaths today? Most of the Christian world says yes and at first glance it is understandable why anyone would believe this. But what if we looked a little closer at the context and meanings of some of the Greek words used? Would we still believe the same, or would we be surprised to learn that this verse actually validates the observance of God’s Festivals and Sabbaths for Christians today?
